This fall, Play At The Core’s CEO and Founder, Jared Carroll, is expanding his teaching role at NYU’s Silver School of Social Work. He’s set to instruct the course, “Exercising Leadership in the Nonprofit and Public Sectors.” But this isn’t just another course; it’s a laboratory of pedagogical innovation.

Unique Opportunity for Innovation with an Incredible Team!

The curriculum is crafted to explore the nuances of leadership, particularly within the nonprofit and public service realms. Students will gain an in-depth understanding of the current challenges and prospects leaders encounter, arming them with effective change management strategies.

But that’s not all! Jared will be collaborating and co-teaching with some of the most esteemed professionals exploring leadership through the lens of social work. He will be joined by his mentor from the Adaptive Leadership in Human Services Institute, Dr. Linda Lausell Bryant and program ally, Mary Burns.

A core objective of this team is to discern how the adaptive leadership model can be refined to resonate more profoundly with social work. This hands-on, practice-oriented exploration promises groundbreaking insights into social work leadership dynamics.

But Wait, There’s More…

Brace yourselves for more exciting news! Jared is nearing the completion of orchestrating a post-master’s certificate program titled “Organizational Systems Leadership in Social Work,” slated to launch in early 2024. Stay tuned for more updates!

Jared’s escalating academic pursuits seamlessly align with PATC’s ethos of lifelong learning, healing, and transformation in the nonprofit arena. We’re confident that these novel roles will not only enrich NYU students but also infuse Play At The Core with enhanced expertise, fortifying our mission and the support we extend to our partner community.
